Culinary Historians of Washington, D.C. (CHoW/DC) founded in 1996, is an informal, nonprofit, educational organization dedicated to the study of the history of foodstuffs, cuisines, and culinary customs, both historical and contemporary, from all parts of the world. Each January, the membership holds a "potluck" cooperative dinner, organized around a theme. Since 2007 is the 400th anniversary of the founding of Jamestown, Virginia, the group decided to celebrate the foods of Virginia.

Follow the link below for more about the Virginia dinner, or click here to learn more about CHoW/DC.
